Summary:
The Lord told me "Just tell the people to give me glory." Tell them "Never fall in love with anything."
Warning: Don't rehearse all the negative and difficult things you've been through, but instead, look at today and lift your hands and give the Lord glory for all that He is.
Remember: Psalm 34:19 "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of it all."
Things might not be looking the way you want them, but if you're alive, there is something to give glory to God for. Don't give glory to the stuff. Give glory to the God who gave the stuff.

Key Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
Read all of Jeremiah 29. God gave a sentence to the people, but even in the midst of it, He blessed them. Even if your circumstances are not what you want, God will bless you and cause you to grow where you are.
Vs. 4 The circumstances we are in are not always caused by Satan. God caused them to be drawn to Babylon and still He commands them to live life and prosper. Why? Because God is always with us (Ref. Hebrews 13:5).
Vs. 7 shows us that He will also give us peace where we are. He will order our steps. He is still carrying you and watching over you. Your situation will not always remain. He will take care of you! (Don't think about what you will gain - the things - because He's getting ready to give you GREATER blessings.)
"If I stay thinking about all that I lost, I wouldn't be thanking Him for all that I've gained."
Q. Are you more in love with God than the things He can provide?
Vs. 8 Be careful where you get a prophetic word. Make sure it is aligned with the Word of God.
Vs. 10 He will visit and perform - He will keep His promise. He has already kept His promise through Jesus Christ.
-------------------------------------------------
1. Never give glory to anything or anyone else but God. Read Isaiah 42:8. God says He will not give his glory to another, neither His praises. He will not share His glory. No one or thing can come before Him.
Q. Who or what are you putting before God? Make sure you obey God. You don't need anyone to validate you if God already has.
2. Love God only and not the things in the world. Read 1 John 2:15 - "Whoever loves the wrong values of this world cannot also love God our Father. Do not love the wrong values of this world." The best way to keep money is to not focus on it or love it. Deuteronomy 8:18 - "God gives you power to get wealth."
3. Praise Him for everything. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - "In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
Q. What can you praise God for today?
